ISLANDS, charts a new course for the adventurer that lives within us all. From the opening sound of the Pacific lapping gently on golden sands, the romance of The Wind In Your Hair will take you away to some of the most magical places in the world.

Noel has lived and composed in the Asia/Pacific region for many years, and within his labour of love are musical influences from the Solomon Islands, Guadalcanal, Bali, Sarawak, Cebu, and Tahiti.

Noel: "Growing up in a small Australian country town, I dreamed of worlds I discovered in the writings of Stevenson, Conrad, and Michener. When I eventually reached these places, reality may have differed differed from my preconceptions, but the true romance of the Pacific touched me in ways I could never have predicted. Those feelings tend to stay".

BIG SKY was created to bring together music and art from different cultures around the world. It is dedicated to projects which will hopefully build bridges and lead toward better understanding.
