Album Notes

Quinten Hope is one of the most expressive artists on the scene today. From virtuoso guitar player to platinum level composer and producer he has all the credentials a professional musician should have.
The latest masterpiece, "Start Of A New Day", is a powerful example of his talents as he joins forces with Will Lee and Andy Timmons.
Quinten is a native Texan born and raised in Dallas. His passion for music led him to the University of North Texas where he studied Composition, Music Theory, Jazz and Classical guitar.
He played and composed numerous pieces for the prestegious North Texas Lab Bands, several of which are still performed today.
He has experience in every style you can think of. In 1997 he stepped onto the country music scene and was nominated "Best New Country Guitar Player" by the Dallas Country Music Awards. Quinten then turned back to his roots in the rock and blues circuit delighting crowds with his amazing solos and astonishing tone.
Between performing, writing, session work and producing, Quinten Hope's name is becoming more prominent on the "Hot List" of players and himself a highly sought after talent.

REVIEWS

Funky bass, awesome drumming, and of course, killer fusion guitar.

The influence of Eric Johnson is heard clearly in Quinten's playing. Quinten's unique voice is heard in the variety in songwriting. This CD offers a broad spectrum of music from kicking back jams, to smooth jazz, to some very cool rock. My personal favorite are Kingdom Forever (big, big, big!) and Finding My Way II. It will take you a long time to wear this one out. Enjoy!

This music is refreshing, considering that I dig mostly fusion kats like Greg Howe, Tribal Tech, Miles Davis, The Electrik Band, etc, etc. I caught Q perform a couple of years ago and was spoiled in thinking that there was more of this kind of thing going on in Dallas. Boy was I wrong!! I really dig this music. Keep playing it and put some more dates on the calendar for guys like me...
