Album Notes

13 songs from your new favorite rock band ....THE QUIRKS!

This CD comes out of the gate like a top fuel dragster with the throttle stuck open and the brake lines cut! It features songs about barfights (What Did You Just Call Me) to breakups (What You Wanted) and all the hookers, girlfriends and stalkers in between. ROCK!

Braden Merrick Northwest Regional A&R Rep for Warner Bros. Records
There's something character-tastic about Davids voice I'm diggin' on that I haven't heard since listening to Joey Ramone. There's a story-teller aspect to this song which will attract listeners to follow along like a book. I think many could relate to "What You Wanted" so you're already one step ahead of the pack. I wish the guy would win this situation...haha.

Music Connection Los Angeles November 2003
Any band that calls itself the Quirks and features a guy with a dunce cap on his head has the dubious job of living up to its title. The song, Miss Angeles, comes off like a pseudo-mixture of the Clash, Devo and Weezer. The breakup song, What You Wanted, has melodic vocal blends that work well to soften the garage-band edge and give it a Smash Mouth vibe. What Did You Just Call Me, suggest the Quirks would really rather be the Kinks.

Maybelline New York/ Jane Magazine Reader-Produced CD 2003
And they're so special because? We may not be willing to give back their T-shirt (oh, listen to the lyrics why don't you? but we dig the funny and smart breakup track What You Wanted. But are they ferocious infuriating fury like their bio claims? Maybe but we see them more as the cool, hilarious boys we just want to hang out with.Turn it up.

The Quirks:

David Quirk: Sing-o, Guitar-o,
Joe Quirk: Screechin', Guitarin',
Dan Quirk: Bass
Gunn Quirk: Drums
