Rabbath's trademark pieces Poucha Dass, Breiz, Ordis, and Reitba are here plus the rarely heard Iberique Peninsulaire and War and Peace written for the celebration of Pablo Picasso's 90th birthday. The blazing virtuoso compositions Crazy Course, and Prades are heard in fantastic live renditions. Many of these performances are from Rabbath's legendary appearances at the Palais des Sports in Paris.

Beautful..

Francois is a true genius of his instrument and this live recording captures every aspect of it. His arco playing (off the neck!) transends the contrabass to another world. This recording is a must for not only bassists, but for those who admire fine, fine music.
