Atlanta power-pop group That Rabbit's Dyn-o-mite! serves up lush melodic tunes with a pitch-black wit. With hints of The Pixies, Weezer, The Cars and The Strokes, TRD's unique sound is a bit hard to pin down, but the wide range of influences are tied neatly together with singer Zach McBrayer's rich harmonies and guitarist Justin Nihiser's bottomless hooks. This dynamic five-piece formed in the spring of 2004 in the wake of several previous projects to make dark and edgy music dressed up in a vivid pop sound.
