If you wish to be transported, uplifted, and carried into joy, Rachel Ravitz and Matthew Brown have just released their new CD, My Love, My Friend. The CD has been a long time in the singing and in the making. I have often been in their presence when they are singing. Each time, everyone present has felt bliss. So, it is a great joy to have My Love, My Friend which is as beautiful to listen to as their singing in person. Rachel and Matti carry the soul of devotion in their hearts and it uplifts the listener. They sing in English and Hebrew. My only wish is that they had liner notes with all of the words of their songs. I'm hoping their first edition will quickly sell out so that in the next edition they can give us all the words to sing to. Theirs is a harmony of the celestial spheres. They are singing to HaShem and HaShem is answering and surely their beloved Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, in heaven, is singing with them the sweetest of harmonies. Dearest Sister Rachel, Highest Brother Matti, how can I thank you? Shlomo is saying, "How can I thank you for bringing us the new song?" How can we thank you, dear souls? Well, we can all buy copies for friends to support their work. I can think of so many people, Jews and non-Jews, who will be transported by their songs. Blessings, dear friends.
