at Chappell Studios,7th Avenue(by:Julian McBrowne)
Mixed in NYC at Right-Tracks Studios (by: Joshe),
then remixed at Target Studios (by:Marc Moss)

COMING TO AMERICA :
Rachid King came first in US in 1976 for visit,
then in 1978 to record his "huge"successful lp
"Rachid King in USA" which was distributed in
1980 in New York by African Records Centre.
He returned again in 1984 to found and lead a
"big afri-pop band "The sounds of Africa" in NW
Washington,DC at"Kilimanjaro International Club"
where he performed "live" between 1984-1990.


THE SECRET OF THIS CD :
The Secret ingredient of this Cd "I MISS YOU" is
the poignant and romantic "female vocal backing"
and the mix of african,jazz,reggae,rap,hip hop
and contemporary music via "trumpet/saxophone
voicing and piano runs that adds a new dimension.
Beautiful music from Rachid King ( a former high
school teacher)a guitarist,lead-vocalist and a
producer,from Congo-Kinshasa (ex-Zaire) in Africa
