Album Notes

STEPHEN ALLEN treads the keyboards and adds to the three-part harmonies in RACKETT's ever-growing repertoire of 3-car garage rock songs. He wanted to be a musician ever since hearing the first record he ever owned—Big Bad John by Jimmy Dean of sausage fame.

PAUL GRIMSTAD plays lead guitar, sings and writes songs for RACKETT. In addition to twangs and angles, he now plays 3-car garage rock. Most of the time he doesn't get it, but once in a while he does.

LEE MATTHEW swore he'd become a professional musician after attending The Who's performance of Tommy in 1989, and has been somewhat true to his adolescent oath. The L.A. native sings and plays guitar for RACKETT, a 3-car garage band.

PAUL MULDOON is primarily the lyric writer for RACKETT, though he seems more and more to be getting the hang of a reissue 1952 butterscotch Telecaster and butterscotch maracas, also reissue, which he often shakes at inappropriate times. He plays only 3-car garage rock.

NIGEL SMITH plays bass, sings and writes songs for RACKETT. The worst guitarist in his high school band, he was demoted to bass and hasn't looked back. After 28 years reading old bits of paper, he returns to his first calling. Surviving prog. and fusion, he plays 3-car garage rock.
