Album Notes

Drawing upon years of collective on-stage experience and studio recording,
Phoenix-based Radiofix has come together on a mission to capture the ears of
listeners and audiences worldwide.

With fierce guitar riffs, classic vocals and a steady, in-your-face rhythm
section, Radiofix creates a unique mix of classic rock influences and
popular alternative sounds that appeals to a wide range of listeners.

The current lineup finally came together when singer/songwriter and lead
guitarist Daniel Charles met Matt “Sluffy” McMoots, a talented guitar player
who would soon pick up the bass to play with Radiofix. He tapped roommate
Tim Schultz to provide a solid backbone on the drums and after just a week
of jam sessions it became more than apparent that the three would be a
perfect fit.

"The group we've got with myself, Matt and Timmy is really special because
not only are we on the same page musically but everything else just matched
up,” Daniel says. “There's no pressure and we're just out to have a good
time, entertain people and play some kick-ass rock music."

With 2003’s self-titled debut album and its extremely popular 2007 follow-up
*Angels and Skeletons*, Radiofix has generated a buzz across the Phoenix
area, playing many of the top local venues such as the Clubhouse and Martini
Ranch. The group’s love of performing live is apparent at their shows as the
self-proclaimed “on-stage party” is contagious among everyone in attendance.

“There’s just something about playing live and exchanging excitement and
energy with the crowd,” Sluffy says. “It’s why we write, it’s why we play,
it’s why we do what we do and we just want everyone to have a good time.”

Aside from its dynamic live performances, Radiofix has a marketable sound
that is a conglomeration of influences ranging from the late 60’s through
today with a strong emphasis on vintage riffs, progressive rhythms and
unforgettable hooks.

“I’ve been waiting to have the opportunity to play in a group like this with
such a great sound and solid musicians,” Tim says. “I knew it as soon as we
jammed together and it’s something unbelievable for people out there to
enjoy as much as we do.”

Pure Rock
author: rockin'AZ
This is the best example of combining the rock from yesterday and the rock of today. This is the true rock that flows freely and doesn't try to fit into a category. Angels and Skeletons brings back the guitar solos sorely missed in today's music. The lyrics are pure emotion sung with the same passion those words truly deserve. The funk of the bass, the amazing drum beats accenting the songs and guitar work gives the songs a fullness and drives the feeling from the songs that other bands cannot seem to generate. This album is highly recommended. Don’t miss out on this experience.

About time
author: Patrick R.
So true! I have my style that I stick to but the nearest to a guitar solo I hear is a catchy tune, not with Radiofix! They constantly are rocking out just as the song gets intense and leaves you scanning back on the cd a few times just to hear that combination of bass drums and guitar. A CD that doesn't get old!
