ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Led by songwriter Willie Rusert, Radio Mystery crafts original songs that set stories of lowbrow love and wanderlust against original and inventive music. Drawing influence from artists as different as The Beatles and Tom Waits, Radio Mystery blends genres to create a multi-faceted sound. Rusert writes, sings, and plays guitar and keyboards. His musical counterpart is guitarist Alex Nitta, who provides tasteful support to Rusert’s lyrics through responsive guitar playing. The debut album from Radio Mystery, A Perfect Alibi tells stories of imagined characters in a post-apocalyptic world (Glad), as well as love unrequited (Got To Get You) and relinquished (Valentine). It features John Shebalin on drums and Shaun Saperstein on bass. Saperstein and Shebalin form a solid groove that lays the perfect foundation for every track on the album.
