Album Notes

The Radishes are a San Francisco/Los Angeles based band with a sound that has been described as Nirvana meets Motorhead. Other influences include such high-energy units as The White Stripes, The Stooges, The Pixies, The Hives, Flipper, and even NIN, with a penchant for hooky, angular guitar lines, ferocious vocals and relentless drumming.

The Rads are comprised mainly of multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and writer Paul Stinson, wunderkind, multi-instrumentalist and producer Scrote (Baby Snufkin, Casino Royale), and a revolving cast of drummers including Earl Harvin (The The, Art of Noise), Steve Calhoon (Skeleton Key, Frank Black) and Ryan Brown.

The Sophia EP was recorded at Hit Wall Studios in South San Francisco by Matt Strickland (who also played bass on "Lemmy"). Lead guitar by John Baker, drums by Beth Robie. Remixed by Mark Needham in Los Angeles, and produced by Scrote.
