This band CrAcKleS with aliveness!
To me, this album plus their other album is essential listening. What you get is music that crackles with aliveness. And if you happen to know anything about music, get this: here's a band that captures the same kind of energy of their live performances, they're that good and the recordings that well done, in my opinion. By both albums and thank yourself for doing so. Then get your butt down to any Michael Landau gig and understand why he sounds so good!

I used to see Michael Landau play acoustic and some electric for Vonda Shepard. Then got curious about his jazz and rock stints at the Baked Potato and his psychedelically expansive playing with Stolen Fish. And then I saw him playing in The Raging Honkies. No matter the musical setting, he's expressing it! And his gig partners too! Now I've got to post this review on the other album, just in case someone doesn't see it here. Such good music!
