"Raimund Burke sent me his Christmas album right out of the blue with an accompanying letter requesting me to give him a quote. I opened the link, had a listen and found my foot tapping incessantly to the boppy grooves of some of the hardest rocking Christmas songs I've ever heard and though I don't really listen to heavy metal, I actually listened to every track in it's entirety. There is humour leaking out of grungy bass riffs and finely played precision in both the pyrotechnics of his guitar soloing as well as the slinky jazz undertones of tracks like White Christmas, that hilariously does not disappoint and instead, suddenly breaks down to say "cut the crap, we're here to play rock!" (in German of course). There's even a lilting touch of a country twang on the waltz groove of "Oh Silent Night" and beautifully executed blues guitar on Deck the Halls that cascades into a fury of goth rock. This is a well produced and thoughtful collection of songs that I foresee will find their way into films, commercials, people's homes, ipods as well as hearts. Bravo... and Merry Christmas, and oh yeah, it's my birthday too!!! "
(Udo Lindenberg, Heinz-Rudolf-Kunze)
"Raimund is the most underestimated melodic heavy metal guitar player worldwide and his new christmas-record will top anything that has been there in this genre"
"It is indeed a very rockin Xmas!!"
Maybe next time, Raimund... hohoho ;-)"

... more to come soon

1991 The Band KING COCKROACH (Hardrock)
1992-1994 there was a little fusion rock band in Osnabrueck named Zumpf. Weird

Meanwhile, in 2007, Raimund has contributed guitar soli on the Safkan debut album which will still be published in 2008.
There were also a couple of studio jobs that required some soli for a hardrock as well as for a yet unpublished country/rock project from Norway, which adapted a few hardrock classics.
Also in 2007 the production of the new CD “into My Arena” is underway full blast, recorded at the R&B home studio and mastered at Docmaklang Studio, Osnabrueck, Germany.
In December 2008, the new CD “Into My Arena” is released. Raimund was able to obtain quotes from some well-known music experts. This album received excellent press reviews Raimund worldwide.
