Album Notes

This folksy pop-rock bothers duo from Texas packs a big sound and a great box of songs for every one of their shows.

While still young, Peter Kane (28) & Tim Kane (25) have over 30 years of combined live music experience. They are currently showcasing songs off their first major release, Big Time Life, but also cover many great Americana, Folk, & Rock hits from the last 50 plus years.

Music was born in the their blood. Their chemistry cannot be learned. There is a connection on stage that is something only a higher musical power could create. The skilled musicianship, the laughter, the refined vocal harmony. It\'s music you\'ve heard, but like you\'ve never heard it before.

Raisin’ Kane has been delighting crowds with their music since they were just young kids. They grew up listening to a diverse blend of music, much of which is now on display in their act. Their music appeals to people of every age, but is especially popular with the over 40 crowd.

Their original works are also very, well... original. Raisin\' Kane takes the most popular styles of music and throws them in a blender. Their songwriting style is engaging and encourages the audience to be a part of every song.

Big Time Life (2008), Raisin’ Kane’s debut album, features nine original songs and their cover versions of the modern folk hit, Wagon Wheel (Written by Bob Dylan & Jay Ketcham Secor), and the classic folk song, Hangman (Author Unknown – circa 1770).

The songs are great fun, and tackle subjects such as getting back to basics (Big Time Life, Simple Pleasures), staying positive (Play a Sad Song), friends & family (When I Fall Down), lost love (Don’t Know, Don’t Care & Girl Like You), true love (Endless Night, Hangman), finding yourself (End of the Rainbow, Wagon Wheel), and laughing it off (Feelin’ Stupid).

If you\'re looking for great music that leaves you feeling good, you\'ve just found it in Raisin\' Kane.
