This album will move your spirit
author: Richard Foxe
Do I want to be a guitar god? Nah! Gods are not of this world, and I prefer to remain real. So if, like me, you want to be a real, accomplished guitarist, then listen and learn. I've seen the guy play live. (Well, most guitarists don't play that well dead, obviously!) He plays with great touch and feel, and I'm happy to say this album doesn't disappoint. So if you believe, as I do, that the guitar is a machine for moving the spirit, then buy this album and prepare to be moved. Listening to it reminded me why I wanted to learn the guitar. Thanks Luke.

A very good listen
author: John Kline
Luke is a master of thematic development and effects usage. Themes reminiscent of Satch, and a hard driving energy. This CD has attitude, and all of it is good. Luke's positive attitude and passion for guitar come through with every track. 5 thumbs up!

High Quality Listening
author: Nate Reeve
Luke Rake shows a lot of ability and a lot of soul in this CD. He definately has talent and the heart to employ it. I've come to appreciate the CD more and more. Some highlights: Ceres is instumental genious with a melody played in a variety of ways, Time to Breath features an awesome tapping sequence for the last two minutes, Persian Knight has an Arabian flare uncommon to most instumental guitar pieces, Siren's Song has some cool tones and a cool solo, Stay provides a pleasant and relaxing end to the CD. The other songs are all good too.
