After working together for many years at the local clubs and other private functions, we decided to record the group. Most of the songs are familiar standards, performed in a jazz style. Love and the Weather is one of Irving Berlin's hidden gems that is not heard too often and is the album title song.
Antonio's Song is another seldom heard song written by Michael Franks. It is a beautiful and sad song written and dedicated to Antonio Carlos Jobim.
