ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This first offering is an assortment of traditional tunes, mostly from the 'Celtic' traditions.

The true definition of just what 'Celtic' means, in terms of music, is fuel for many long, and possibly heated, discussions! (Throw in some serious Scotch whiskey, and you just may get through it still friends ... bruises heal).

Whatever your 'take' on the term, hopefully, you'll find something to like in this collection of tunes. We had fun playing them. Some of them twice. Twice can be nice.

Dale McUmber-House on guitar, Will Anthony (Tony) Blackford on flute and whistle, Rob Ahrens on Bodhran and bones, Sarah McUmber-House on bass and whistle, Larry Ayers on fiddle, Ian McUmber-House on guitar.

The individual portraits, as well as the 'vine' elements, are the work of Casi Erin Gray, Main Street Studio, Ashkum, IL. Cover design by S.A. McUmber-House - Sassafrass Grove Studio.
