Album Notes

From Johannesburg, South Africa, Cocktail Records presents Rambling Bones.

Rambling Bones like to ramble, and when he is rambling he likes to creates tunes in his head. Late at night when he returns from his trips, and sits under the stars and rests, Rambling Bones takes out the his guitar and plays these songs. With his stripped down acoustic songs, skillful arrangements and soulful lyrics, Rambling Bones is a good friend for any journey.

Rambling Bones is the alter ego of frontman Jay Bones from ska punkers band Fuzigish. This is a mellow acoustic album best served on the rocks!

A refreshing new work which has got better and better ever time I listen to it.Initially I was drawn to baby shoes and old man of the ocean but then I found my attention migrating to all is secure, come home and stories from the stars. Of course those grey man is relevant to the times we live in and the current credit crises caused by financial engineers/bankers and now remedied by bankers at a cost shouldered by ordinary citizens everywhere. With many varied influences this album is definitley worth a try
