Gregg Csikos & Susan Hickey had individual musical careers for many years before meeting and forming Rambling Sailors. Gregg formed and performed with the piratical Corsairs before embarking on a solo career, while Susan spent the same time developing her vocals with An Drasda, then soloing at fairs and helping direct the work on in the schooner trade in Maine.
The cross-influence of their partnership is the hub of the wheel driving Wanderlust their first effort. The themes of sea music have given Susan's sweet voice a bolder, more dramatic edge, while Gregg's powerful baritone occasionally reins itself in to form gentle harmonies. The theme of sailor songs is augmented with additional harmonies from members of Wine, Woman & Song, Three Quarter Ale & The Lost Boys, and amplified by Lost Boys producer & engineer Matthew Trautwein.

This is one of the best cds I have ever heard! Both Greg and Susan have strong distinctive singing voices and they blend them together to make heartbreakingly beautiful harmonies on this disc. The song selection is superb and the quality of the recording is excellent. In all aspects this is truly a five star cd!

This CD is a wonderful and welcome addition to anyone who loves the ren-folk genre. Susan and Greggs voices are the perfect compliment to one another and the arrangements are truly beautiful. You can absolutely tell these two love what they do when you listen to this CD. I look forward to see what their next project is!
