RAMI is a solo artist from Montreal, Canada who composes, arranges, produces and performs everything in his music.
The music is hard hitting guitar oriented rock/funk with influences from 60's and 70's Classic Rock. Thoughtful and sometimes tongue-in-cheek lyrics make this listening experience multi-faceted and very entertaining.
This CD includes 12 songs. 2 covers and 10 well-written, well performed original songs with a sound reminiscent of everything from Alice Cooper and the Red Hot Chili Peppers to King's-X... and a little bit of Rob Zombie thrown in... all mixed together to give a hard-hitting, original sound. Covers of the Rolling Stones "Sympathy for the Devil" and Alice Cooper's "No More Mr. Nice Guy" complete this exciting and versatile package.

Chair-boogie Dynamo!
author: Philip G. Traynor
Rami’s latest effort, Posse Comitatus, is a tightly packaged, cleanly performed and fully matured realization of the artist’s considerable skills in both song crafting and musicianship. The rhythm section is hip, blisteringly innovative, and smooth as the switchgear in a Mercedes. How he is able to master the sensibilities and nuances of drums, guitars, and bass is quite surprising and compelling. Rami has found his niche as an arranger and performer, and he has freed himself to express the wit, irony, and contemplation that rolls through his lyrical and slightly twisted mind. Rami’s sound harkens the meatiness of your favorite 70s classic rock, with a dash of power pop, a heaping tablespoon of prog, a generous splash of neo-funk, and a delightful twist of Weird Al to whet your sillybone. Highly recommended, chair-boogie goodness!

...tight as...
author: ray Cochrane
With a rhythm section as tight as a scrotum in a cold shower, melodies you'd whistle in there as well and lyrics that are by turns witty, cynical & compassionate this is one funky rock colossus.
A general progression from Thinkin' Out Loud but built on the same foundation of hooks, big beat & bloody excellent guitars too!

You should buy this record
author: Casey
Rami is a talented and mercurial artist, and this is (I believe) his second effort as a solo recording outfit after his release of Thinking out Loud.
Rami's progression as a recording artist is manifest in this work. Lyrically, songs like "Too Pretty for Porn" and "Scars" bear testament to Rami's quick wit and political acumen, and should appeal to fans of late 70's rock and roll as well as the more politically charged music of the 1960's.
Musically this record is another snapshot in time of Rami's development as an artist. Having both complex arrangements and well established musical archetypes the listener is transported to a space at once familiar and foreboding - not unlike taking LSD and visiting a place you played as a child.
Much ink has been spilled regarding the role of the "home recordist" in today's crowded music scene. Having so many places to turn is tantamount to having no places to turn.
Rami's body of work is a welcome respite from the mechanical overcompressed hype machine that is commercial pop music today.
I recommend this record and look forward to further releases. From here, it looks like the sky is the limit.

Rockin Yeah
author: Daniel
This album will rock you of yer feet and then as you try to get up it will burry you in the Musical sand it created.
Tbis guy is just amazing, he writes and plays all the instruments by hand.
Very few people in the world has this skill, and by doing this the artist puts his signature on all the instrumental parts in this album, something that mkes this record very unique and rare.
So all hail the Muscuelar Canadian Songwiter, instrumentalist genous.
And for the record, his lyrics kicks ass as well, theire most of the time debating and political on a knife`s egde so to speak.
As a the Only Norwegian fan I WILL SAY rAMI ROCKS SCANDINAVIA Like a Hurricane.
