Album Notes

Random Abiladeze (A-bil-i-ties) is a Hip-Hop Artist and Spoken Word Poet from Sacramento, CA. After moving to Roseville, CA, he began to rap at the age of 13.

What started off as a dare has turned into the career of a hip-hop educator. Random’s first rhyme was inspired by hearing Slick Rick’s verse on “The Art of Storytelling” (Outkast). The socially conscious lyrics of Random’s music led him into the world of spoken word poetry in 2004.

Random won the 2008 Battle of The Bay Poetry Slam @ Stanford University, was voted Youth Speaks Male Poet of the Month for October 2007 in San Francisco, CA, has won several rap competitions on 103.5 (KBMB) & 102.5 (KSFM), and is a two-time champion of the Got Spit! Poetry Slam, hosted by the Sacramento chapter of Hip Hop Congress.

Random has shared stages with: Nas, Tech N9Ne, Mistah F.A.B., Pigeon John, Little Brother, Planet Asia, Taalam Acey, Butterscotch, Amir Sulaiman, Black Sheep, Luckyiam, and Z-Man (Hiero).

Random Abiladeze has his eyes set on a bright future, with the intent to inspire and inform people across the world. Going beyond the art, Random has plans to expand his youth outreach, which has already impacted Northern California; including Placer County, Sacramento, and the Bay Area.

The release of his debut full-length album, “Brutally Honest” has set the stage for a new level of self-expression and uplifted the need for social commentary.
