Randy Adams has been deeply rooted in the Washington,D.C. jam band scene since 1989.Currently the guitarist for The Next Step,Randy has also been a member of The Awakaning, New Potato Caboose and Train Of Thought.Randy's latest creation ''The Transmigration Of Blind Joe Death''is a transcendental work touching on the past, present and future.''I began with the familiar musical language of the blues,gradually trusting my intuition to guide me along the thread of my consciousness. Through this process I tried to tap into a musical language that reflects spiritual transformation and the nature of impermanence.''The result is an improvised work of rare emotional impact.Included with "The Transmigration Of Blind Joe Death'' is the companion disc ''Journey Through The Between''.This disc includes a full length version of some of the material that was edited to create ''The Transmigration Of Blind Joe Death'' as well as some additional material.
