Album Notes

A simple romantic song about two lovers (male sung by Randy and female part sung by Naomi Tyrrell) but still very "pop" and catchy. Wonderful flute playing by Brian Vaillancourt of Toronto; violin by Peter Smith, also of Toronto. Guitar and drum work by Mark Sepic. Originally titled and copyright in Canada as Easy to Love, since Oct. 2008 it underwent new lyrics and the addition of a male singer during the three years and three months it took to complete. (It was so hard to do even though one of the lines in it is "so easy to do". Meanwhile we also came up with a raunchier 1970's style R&B version with a Barry White/Isaac Hayes type of male voice and an Aretha Franklin inspired female voice. To avoid confusion we call the Rhythm and Blues funky version 'Easy to Learn, Easy to Love" . It's fun to listen to with the raunchy voices, skank and chicken pluckin' electric guitar, while this mellow "unplugged" Easy to Love version better captures the original vision of the song.
