Winter colors is ten fresh, original sounding and tenderly rendered seasonal songs both classic and new. There is an emotional content to this music as well. Starting with Calling Snow, a soft chant-like song on percussion and a delightful duet between flutes. Calling Snow paints an image of the season in a Southwest long ago when Winter's first snowfall signaled a period of reflection. Solo flute versions of Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel and Jesu Joy Of Man's Desiring are haunting and respectful. Lullay Lullay, Little Drummer Boy, and Oh Christmas Tree all on light percussion and flute are great mood setting songs and will possible have the listener unconsciously singing along.

Randy earned 2nd place at the 2007 Musical Echoes Native American flute festival and competition. He is a 2007 "Rising Star" selected performer at Zion Canyon Art and Flute Festival. He is a 2007 nominee for the Native American Music Awards or NAMMY's and the New Mexico Music Industry Awards. He performs for festivals, solo concerts, fundraisers, special events as well as volunteers his music regularly in Hospice and Hospital settings.
