4 man band from Santa Rosa, California formed in early 2006. The ‘Electrock’ genre pioneered and created by Ransom Rath cross pollinating IDM breaks with downtuned grunge rock.
Ransom Rath's studio projects already defy what people believe younger musicians can do all by themselves, as they reveal sharp wit, production savvy, and true musicianship. Not sticking to any particular genre other than the one they're trying to create, the only constant on the new record, "Interpret the Results" is the voice, and consistent audio special-effects. Digitally enhanced hip-hop, jazz technique, and piano compositions intertwine throughout the record as it seamlessly blends from one catchy song to another.
“Interpret the Results” is a cryptic concept album, whose chronological history and plot holes are uncovered through clues left on the website, and hidden inside connections between each album track.
For an album of so many styles, even opposites feel right at home sitting side by side. People could consider a Ransom Rath record bipolar, moving from disastrous to delicate in an instant with songs like the unstoppably powerful and violent "Showstopper" and the breathtakingly gorgeous symphony of "Thoughtfulness".
Kalen - keyboards, guitar, programming.
Ron Leitz - guitar, bass, keyboards
