AFTER THE FLOOD was recorded at now-defunct Austin game company ORIGIN, in their now-gone THX studio. It was originally released on the now-defunct original MP3.com site back in 1999, where "Maybe Free" was a top ten hit in the Folk-Rock category. For the last few years you've been able to get a physical copy with a lost track, "Winter and Fall," only from CafePress, and now even that is gone.
But now here it is, at last. Most tracks were recorded live in the studio, voice and guitar, with a few getting some additional guitar and bass work from guests Matt Mitchell, Stretch Williams, and Todd McKimmey. It had exactly 24 hours worth of studio time.
After all that, what have listeners said about it?
