Album Notes

"Conversation In 3" is Rare Form's third CD. This time they team up with veteran drummer, Gary Frommer.During his career, Gary has played with many Jazz legends, and has recorded extensively with Art Pepper. We invite you to step into the Fairview in in Talketna, Alaska and listen in on their musical "conversation" recorded live August 11, 2002.

Rare Form is a Jazz duo playing together since 1999: Murray Nash on keyboards/bass and Rocco John Iacovone on Alto and Soprano Saxophones. Murray has been playing keyboards in Alaska since 1981 and is a regular on the music scene in Talkeetna in many genres and venues. Rocco lives in New York City most of the year and plays and records there with the Rocco John Trio. He studied with Lee Konitz and was part of the NYC "Loft" scene with Sam Rivers and others.
