FOREWORD
By Ras Haile Malekot
Acts 8:26-27.
And the angel of the Lord spake unto Phillip saying, “Arise and go towards the South unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto GAZA, which
is desert. And he arose and went: and behold a man of ETHIOPIA, a Eunuch
Of great authority under Candace Queen of the ETHIOPIANS, who had the
charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship”...
Destiny Of Man - A collection of inspirational songs and authentic
African historical facts is dedicated to the ETHIOPIANS, those at home and those abroad.
When the Egyptians and the Assyrians rejected the Roman Empire as NOT being the visible Kingdom of CHRIST ON EARTH, the ETHIOPIANS who had become Christians, joined with them in repudiating the Roman Emperors as Christ’s’ vice regents, and upheld the claim of Alexandria to be the true metropolis of Christendom.
Through the centuries, which have elapsed since the final breach between the Egyptians and the old and new Rome and their Church at the council of Chalcedon in A.D. 451, the Ethiopians, have retained their faith, their ancient tradition, customs and way of life. They still preserve their link with the Church of Alexandria though the Ethiopian Church now holds it’s own synod and elects its own Archbishops.
Ethiopia, a torchbearer of FREEDOM and a source of INSPIRATION to all
AFRICAN people is the pride and joy of the BLACK RACE. Having had their history blemished by many invading forces (often resisted with heroism and peril, determination and bloodshed to safeguard her independence),
Ethiopia still remains a ray of hope for all mankind.
Ethiopia for centuries had almost been forgotten by EUROPE and it was undoubtedly due to the will and efforts of His Imperial Majesty our Emperor Haile Selassie I; Guardian of Education and Pioneer of Progress, that she finally emerged into the world’s consciousness.
"Destiny Of Man" is for ALL to listen to and enjoy. It is intended to be a source of information, a source of inspiration, and a compass of direction.
Indeed you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. TENA YISTILIN ETHIOPIA....
