Inspired by the overwhelming acceptance of his music in the United States, Jamaican born RAS MIDAS released "Loving Vibration" as his 7th solo album and third USA release on JML Records in 1998. This album followed the extensive touring and success of "Stand up Wise Up." "Loving Vibration" was rated by worldwide music critics as the third best independently produced reggae album in 1998.

"Loving Vibration" has a contemporary roots rock rhythm style with a cutting edge. RAS MIDAS did not spare in selecting some of the finest musicians from the field of reggae and R&B stretching from Jamaica to the USA which includes Sly Dunbar & Robbie Shakespeare and the Taxi Gang and background vocals with Marcia Griffiths from the I-Threes.

RAS MIDAS is original. He has a very distinctive style all his own. With a silky smooth voice he still sings with the mission of a musical revolutionary. A European and African sensation since the beginning of his solo career, RAS MIDAS has distinguished himself by consistently delivering high energy performances and positive music since 1974. RAS MIDAS' musical blends have created the origins of today's worldbeat with an innovative mixture of reggae and international rhythms. He has been dubbed as a musical prophet.
