Powerful, delicate, tender and breathtaking by turns, these songs deal with thoughts and feelings - the things left unsaid, the spaces between the words. Think Pink Floyd and the London Philharmonic meet Dido and Judy Collins.

Raspberry Silk is not a band that is easily pigeonholed within today's musical environment - this is music that transports you to an entirely different dimension. ~ Hitsession Review
Pink Floyd fans will especially appreciate the potent mixture of Texan Kim Novak's organic vocal stylings and UK-based Milo Black's progressive-minded instrumentation and programming. Together these two unique artists are known as Raspberry Silk, and their introspective takes on life have resonated with fans in the form of Rock chart mainstays like "Regret," "Drowning," and the more hopeful "Wish For Tomorrow." For a rush of intricately woven and atmospheric soundscapes that support thought-provoking messages of life, love and loss, look no further than Raspberry Silk. ~ Javamusic Review

Vaer smooth and tasty

I sampled Raspberry Silk on the internet....that did not prepare me for the moods and sounds created on that CD! Each time I listen, my mind turns a different corner with some of the thoughts expressed and the smooth sounds created. Just like the name "Raspberry Silk" the voice and music are "tasty" and "smooth"!

beautifully written, performed and produced!
author: Bud Bennett
I had heard the Inner Voices songs as mp3s and loved them, especially Drowning, so when I got this CD I knew sort of what to expect. BUT, wow, what a difference it was hearing them on my real home stereo on this CD. The difference is amazing because on CD you can hear so much more of the instrumentation and more appreciate the fabulous production of this project. I was impressed, but now I'm REALLY impressed.
These songs are beautifully written, both the lyrics and the music I mean. The lyrics are thought provoking, insightful, and mature. The music supports the lyrics and vocals perfectly too. What a wonderful production this is.
My favorite song is still Drowning. The words, the delivery of the words, and the music all work together to give the song a FEEL. What the feel is, I'll let you decide, but WOW, what a feeling that song gives me!
Excellent job Raspberry Silk!
