Album Notes

Canadian singer-songwriter Lonnie Rathie's second CD is a rockier effort featuring more guitar tracks and harmony vocals than her first album. The title track is stripped down to the bare basics to highlight her strong vocals and lyrics and the uptempo (almost danceable!) 'Bright Lights, Big City' pays homage to New York, where she now lives. She maintains intelligent and personal songwriting while throwing in some fun stuff for good measure. The CD was recorded in Canada with some tracks remixed in New York and one song -'One In A Million' written after the rest of the CD was finished and recorded in the NYC studio acoustically. She continues to grow as an artist and performer. Pick up her debut album 'Travelling Alone' on CDbaby.com
