"I started Rattlesnake with the goal to create music that’s 100% badass Rock N Roll. Growing up listening to bands like Guns N Roses and Van Halen, I became frustrated with the current musical trends and so-called ‘rock bands’ of today. The lack of character and attitude from musicians proclaiming to be ‘real rock stars’ strengthened my respect and admiration for people like David Lee Roth and Axl Rose. This resulted in my desire to write real rock music that’s authentic and most importantly kicks major ass!

Whilst writing Rattlesnake people who were desperate to be current told me there should be less guitar solos and more music that was likely to appeal to everyone. I refuse to compromise my music for people who don’t understand or feel what real rock is. This music is not for them, its not for everyone, its for rockers. I have little respect for musicians who do compromise because that’s not being an artist or a musician.

The result of my work is an album that I am very proud of. The music only has one purpose: to rock. Contributing musicians include drummer Chris Nagel, bassist Hidi Moro and vocalist Tref Davies. The album is a tribute to my heroes and influences whose music is still remembered and makes the same artistic statement many years after its release. Rattlesnake is an uncompromising rock album for fans of rock n roll worldwide"

"Rattlesnake certainly wear their influences on their collective sleeves, with a love of both Guns'N'Roses and Van Halen obvious throughout, but this CD is blessed with an energy and vigour that keeps it the right side of hero-worship. Singer Tref Davies has an impressively soulful vocal style, while the accomplished playing sees guitarist Will not afraid to show off their soloing ability – but not to the detriment of the songs' flow. Stand-out number 'Tip Of The Iceberg' is the clearest example of what Rattlesnake have to offer, but as a whole, this album is an assured, confident release from a band who could easily find a loyal audience.”
