Oyate Music Group Recordings is proud to present the debut cd release from RAVENHEART!
This new cd explores the dark and moody tones and song stylings from this innovative and unique group from New Mexico.
The members of RAVENHEART are from Cherokee/Choctaw/Lakota descent and bring a unique musicianship and talent to this release.
Songs pertaining to the ongoing and everlasting subjects of LOVE, RELATIONSHIPS and HEARTBREAK, this release is introspective and very personal.
Hard Rock'n at times, then mellow and sad at others, these songs take the listener inside of a personal journey that ALL who have ever been "in love" and then "lost, will immediately relate with.
Although often times "angry" in its brutal truths, RAVENHEART will also elevate the listener to a place where they can feel that "love will come again", and the next time...you will be ready!
Check out this thought-provoking and entertaining new cd from one of the fastest up and coming groups on Oyate Music Group Recordings....you won't be sorry!

I bought the cd from this website thinking that it was like a "love songs" thing...boy was I surprised...it is about love...but more about getting :killed" by love...at 1st I thought it was too DARK...but about 3 weeks later, after I listened to it, I broke up with my girlfriend...ok she broke up with me...so I started listening to it again...and I found alot of salvation in the songs...yeah love is hard...but I think that I will be ok after hearing the pain in this guys storie...I really have enjoyed it and will continue to remember everytime that I hear it...that I am NOT alone !! Now I just need another girl !!

About Time !!

I use to hear these guys play all around Oklahoma and Texas..then they kinda dissappeared...well now I see what they were up too....
I have always enjoyed the sound of this band...tight twin guitars, and really good vocalist...I met them at a show in Lawton and Anthony Raven was so cool...just a really nice guy...
I am happy that they finally found a label that would let them make theri cd they way they wanted too...I have another cd by them...and although its good, they don't sound like they were enjoying themselves...hearing the live version of "Givin' it all away" was a reall treat..brought back memories....Glad you guys are still kickin' !! I love the cd !!

When I came across this site, I thought that RavenHeart sounded familiar...then I listened to "Gypsy Road" and knew I had heard them before...I know Jimmy Yellowhand from way back, and he's always been a very under-rated guitr player...see these guys LIVE...they ROCK !! I bought 2 copies of this cd at a show they did in Dallas, and both copies got taken from me..I guess that someone else liked them too...oh well, now I can get another one...
