This is REALLY Good !
author: Cedric
This is one of those CD's that high end audio stores should use to demonstrate their products. The full 60 minute CD showcases Tammy's voice in a number of formats. A number of faster songs, # 4 Dreamer being my favorite of this type, reflect Tammy's ability to lead a group of musicians using just the right amount of vocal. With a voice as powerful as Tammy 's it must be difficult to avoid dominating the sound of the musicians but she has pulled it off, her style at times reminding me of Kate Bush but remaining very unique. The percussion on up tempo songs 1, 2 and 4 is particularly noteworthy. The slower songs some accompanied by guitar, others by Tammy herself on piano and song 15 unaccompanied by instruments, give Tammy the opportunity to let her amazing voice be the centre of the listeners attention. Of the ballads I really enjoy song #9 called Self, the vocals and keyboard are outstanding, I wish this song was twice as long. Listen to this song carefully at a good volume and ask your self if you have heard a better ballad recently. Song # 11 This is Why, is a stripped down version of an earlier release, it is performed in the same style as song #9, with the same great result. I can't help but think these two pieces will find there way into a movie scene one day. Well done Tammy and to those who helped you. These days it is rare CD that has a full hour of good songs, and 14 of the 15 were written by the artist! Canadian music fans should be proud of you.

Can't stop listening to this one.

Wow. This is a great CD. Tammy outdoes herself with this one. Her stunning voice does not disappoint. The acoustic sound is something I can enjoy at home, in my car or at work. As the owner of all of Tammy's CD's I can easily say this is my favorite. Well done, Tammy.
