Album Notes

When Matthew Dunn and Jeff Smith met in junior high, they made a pact: they would become a frickin' awesome comedy rock duo by the time the 21st century rolled around. And now, that 7th grade dream lives and breaths as Raymond & Scum. The team performs their catchy, off the wall songs at comedy clubs, colleges and conventions all over the country and their YouTube videos have been viewed by tens of thousands. They have been featured regularly on the nationally syndicated Dr. Demento show and in 2007, they were founding members of the Funny Music Project (www.thefump.com), a web site that has posted 500+ free comedy music downloads and has been called "the greatest thing to happen to funny music since Al got Weird" by Dr. Demento himself. The same year, Raymond & Scum's zombie-themed love song, "Nothing's Gonna Tear Us Apart", appeared on the soundtrack of the internationally distributed comedy/horror film "Stupid Teenagers Must Die!" In 2011, the band made their 11th consecutive performance at the annual B.O.R.E.D. Tour, the world's longest running comedy music festival.

This album is nothing short of amazing. I laughed, I cried laughing and by the end I was knee deep in diarrhea! (cha-cha-cha). But seriously... okay I was serious before... but MORE seriously, this is THE funniest comedy album I have heard all year! And the music just rocks too much to listen to it a meager 9 or 10 times in a row. Buy this album, buy it now... or Promo the monkey will bite you (or even worse, fling poo at you)!

This CD is hilarious! If you like funny music, you NEED this CD right now. It's so good that Weird Al's drummer actually plays on 2 of the songs! Among the best songs on here are Jennifer Lopez (I Want To Be Your Friend), Short Breakup Song, Young Love (this one will have you laughing for 30 minutes), The Ancient One, Devoted, and Birthday. Oh and you also must buy this CD along with "Ready to Laugh? We Don't Care" by Hot Waffles in order to get one of the best comedy music puzzles ever.
