Album Notes

Ray Smith performed on the Vangard record label with the Jazz fusion band FLYING ISLAND, which produced two albums in New York City.

His style has been likened to Bruce Springsteen, Mark Cohen, Michael Hedges and Richard Thompson. His latest release, DANCE ON A WIRE, is hot off the press and features all original songs and instrumentals by Ray and back up vocals by Cari Minor-who also has a cd available on cdbaby entitled RETURNING.

Ray and Cari have recently joined forces to form a duo "SLEIGHT OF HAND" and are currently in production of a new cd project-also soon to be available on cdbaby !
