If you like the following, you'll like this: Townes, Earle, Kris, Delbert, Ray Wylie, McMurtry, maybe even some Chris Knight, and the list goes on. Great songwriting, great delivery, nothing but good times from this guy, just listen to the clips and you'll see what I mean. Highly recommended.

What a journey! Feed your soul and spark your imagination!
author: Eltoro
I just love this CD. He invites you into his very soul and the trip is awesome. From the soulful & sexy 'Big Time' to the tear jeaking 'Princess Years' (oreo cookies and kool-aid tea - OMG!) to the love he expresses for his wife/life-mate in 'At the End of The Day'. This CD will be a close friend for years to come.

Mature songwriting beautifully executed
author: Loonrider
...a great singer-songwriter in the style of Browne and Hiatt. Several of these songs have become firm favourites of mine over the last few months. This is tender, compassionate, honest, articulate and mature songwriting beautifully executed by great musicians, including Al Perkins. The sequencing maintains the pace of the album, there are some good rockers on here along with the ballads and the Tom Waitsian Big Time which puts you right in the bar-room. And while they border on sentimentality, songs like Angels Holding Hands Between Us, Jeg Elsker Dig and Princess Years bring a tingle to my cynical old eyes. I’d love to hear him duet At The End Of The Day with Emmylou…reckon she might say ‘yes’ too!. - Loon Rider

Ray Weaver's Confession is the work of a seasoned songsmith.
author: E. Rhame
Ray Weaver's latest release 'Confession' is just that, songs of confession, replete with soul searching, remorse and reward. The resulting listen is equal parts classic and contemporary- the songs are self composed and the production is state of the art, warranting air play on any number of self respecting radio stations. Weaver shows a virtuosity in not only lyric, but in song arrangement as well. From the opening two step bump of 'This Road' to the closing raspy notes of 'Like Heroin', Weaver covers the Americana landscape like a seasoned professional, proving that outstanding musicianship and true grit need not be mutually exclusive propositions. One can only hope that with Weaver's return to the States after an extended expatriation in Denmark, ears and eyes will open to a release which is true country music as it was meant to be: from the heart of the singer, lacking any filler.
