Raz e Shab was one of the very first Iranian underground bands to receive permission from the Iranian cultural authorities to both publically release an album and perform their music live. Ramin Behna (Keyboards), Shahrouz Molaie (Drums) and Arash Sobhani (Guitar) founded the band, soon to be joined by Houman Javid on vocals. A string of illustrious guest musicians contributed to the band’s music, including Babak Riahipour and Reza Abaee. The following selection of songs includes never-before published tracks from the band’s second album and from their acclaimed final performance at the Niavaran Palace in Tehran.
