Album Notes

RC Johnson & The G-Spots is a rockin' blues trio from the Toronto (Canada) area. In September of 2006, the band's debut CD entitled "Blues That Makes You Feel Good" was nominated by the Durham Region Music Society, for the category of 'Blues Album of the Year'. The band is led by R.C. Johnson, whose flashy guitar style has been heard as far away as Hong Kong where he appeared on three albums by the band "Swing".

Johnson grew up listening to blues and jazz, and now makes his living performing, writing, and recording with Canadian based blues, funk, and jazz groups.
R.C. Johnson earned a music degree from York University, where he received the Oscar Peterson Scholarship, for excellence in jazz performance. Johnson's influences include Carlos Santana, Albert Collins, Ronnie Earle, Jimi Hendrix, and Wes Montgomery.
