Album Notes

Syndicated columnist and TV host Joe Bob Briggs credits Denver filmmaker/artist/musician Ronnie Cramer with making "some of the finest underground films of this century."

Cramer's screen work has also been termed "original and inventive" by Option magazine and "supremely entertaining" by Westword, a Colorado periodical that has awarded Cramer three "Best of Denver" prizes and praised him for his "amazing facility with mass media."

Ronnie directed the crime feature Back Street Jane, a film noir likened to John Huston's Asphalt Jungle by Psychotronic video magazine, and the black comedy Even Hitler Had a Girlfriend, which Briggs dubbed "the best drive-in movie of the year." Ronnie's latest film is Highway Amazon, which won two Aurora Awards and was named Best Documentary - Experimental Genre at the New York International Independent Film Festival.

Also an accomplished musician, Cramer's recorded material has received airplay on over 100 radio stations and he has performed live concerts at such venues as San Francisco's Mabuhay Gardens and New York's CBGB. A longtime composer and lyricist, Cramer has had two Number One songs on MP3.com.

A painter for over twenty-five years, Ronnie's watercolor and acrylic works have been shown throughout the U.S., including thirty exhibitions in 2002-03 alone.
