I lay in the dark and opened my eyes.
Through the mist I could see
The Elders were there.
And as far as I could see,
All of the First Nations were there

I asked them
"Why am I here?"

And a voice answered
"You were chosen."

Then Grandfather and a small boy
Came to me with folded wings

And in the dark of night said to me
"This was given to me many, many years ago."

A beautiful, golden-honey flute lay in my lap
And they left with folded wings


Richard Schrei is a sound healer, Reiki Master/Teacher, and a member of both the Sound Healers Association and the International Native American Flute Association.

In his healing work, he uses several modalities which include Tuning Forks, Toning, Mantras, Drums, Guided Meditation, Didgeridoo, Native American flute, and Brainwave Entrainment. Richard also performs shamanic music healing concerts.

Richard is a 2003 graduate of the MindBodySpirit Professional Training Program offered by the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, Washington, DC, and Co-Sponsored by the University of Minnesota Center for Spirituality and Healing.
