Rubbing Down Debbie is a 5-piece all girl band based in Jacksonville, Florida. Our sound ranges from old-school punk to heavy beats mixed with goofy random treats. Our live performances are packed with energy, fuck-ups, odd-ball antics and RAGE. We give what we got just to make you pop! And here's our SERIOUS bio... In 2003 we got together and started the process of writing songs. On August 8th, 2004, we played our first gig at Jackrabbits, in our home town, Jacksonville, and have been broadening our performance spectrum since. Including, but not limited to, performances with: the Warped Tour, Exene Cervenka's band The Original Sinners, and The Fluff-Girl Burlesque troupe, to name a few. We are currently unsigned. Getting signed is a goal we are working toward while continually writing new songs and growing as a band. For us, forming this band was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. It is something we knew we wanted to do from a very young age and we are not about to quit anytime soon...so watch out!!! sweet...ain't it? xoxo
