Album Notes

British born musician and composer Richard de Bastion has been involved in rock and popular music for the past four decades. It was during the early 1960's with the R&B band "Terry Web and the Spiders" where, together with Jim Capaldi, and later the legendary John Bonham of Led Zepplin he made his first stage appearences.

In the early 1970's Richard moved to West Berlin, where Anglo/American singer songwriters were welcomed with the proverbial red carpet. He quickly became an estanlished member of the select few, with a record contract and several releases, both as an artist and as lyricist and composer.

In the late 70's he returned to England to join the "Edgar Broughton Band" for a series of album releases and extensive touring throughout Europe before resuming residency in Berlin where he resumed his solo career. The LP That's Life was first released on vinyl in 1988 featuring 10 original compositions, Richards vocals, piano and guitar accompanied by a host of Berlins finest session musicians.
