Biography:
Robert D. Hanna has made his mark as a talented songwriter and owner of MCM Productions, a subsidiary of Prevalent Entertainment, Inc. and MacroCosmic Music Publishing, ASCAP. As a composer/producer, he has been signed with The Universal Music Group for the last 12 years; his songs have placed in the following feature films:

History:
R. D. Hanna started out as a jazz guitarist in a Bay Area jazz ensemble, winning awards as a soloist in the jazz festival circuit. After arriving in Los Angeles, and achieving his Bachelor's degree at UCLA, he pursued production work in the booming Hollywood recording industry. He worked on recordings for Jody Watley, Andre Cymone of Prince's band, Mary Jane Girls, Teena Marie, Jesse Johnson of "The Time", Billy Preston, The Dazz Band, Parliament-Funkadelic, and Billy Idol. Subsequently, as songwriter and lead singer of his own band "DAY DREAM", Robert performed live on Natalie Cole's National TV show, and had the honor to work with Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, After Seven, Patti Labelle, and Whitney Houston. Although he has roots in Jazz and Soul music, he has always cultivated his knack to Rock, explosively illustrated in his band "ToolBox". Robert has produced several albums with "ToolBox" which charted top 10 in CMJ on the college music circuit.
