Album Notes

Richard Dwyer was born in Cailroe, a town land in the Beara Peninsula, West Cork into a family where Irish music was very prominent. Born in to a family of musicians and composers of trad Irish music. The Dwyer family are one of the most respected musical familys in Ireland and abroad. This album was recorded shortly after Richard recieved the T.G.4, Gradam Ceoil Award 2004 for composer of the year. on the strength of his first album entitled , :IN A CREATIVE MOOD:. This second album entitled , With A Song In My Life, features Richard singing songs that he has made his own over the years.
He provides Guitar, Piano , and Flute on this album.
As a musician and composer no album would be complete without an origional piece. This particualar composition is called The Beara Waltz. This waltz is composed and played on the Accordian. This piece has French and Jypsy overtones.
