Album Notes

Everyone’s true personality comes out in their playing. In this way your instrument becomes your voice and exposes a truly unique point of view. Three real easy guys from the New York City area are giving the people what they want in a way that begs you to be real easy. Songs people can relate to about outlandish themes targeting their hearts, minds and funny bones, while leaving their tear ducts in tact.

Evan (Vocals/Guitar/Loud/Crazy) tells it like it is, while Pauly T. (Bass/Quiet/Very ill) has a profound ability to play it like it is. These two feuding elements are provided a steady livid platform by drummer Leighton, a cat with a steady hand and funky California feel. Real Be Easys are known to funk out in the ways of the raw, youthful Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Rock out in a proper late 60’s psychedelic fashion.

The goal is to offer an alternative to dance music, with the same effects. Massive swarms of people packed like sardines into large halls, all grooving, and connected to one universal sound and energy that will transcend because it’s Live. In a world where the girls want to dance, and the guys want to bop their heads and bump the bass, Real Be Easys are the providers.

This is a band that clearly likes their music loud, funky and a bit wild. They attack it with an enthusiasm and energy that gives a raw and jagged edge to the sound. Sort of like the Red Hot Chili Peppers before they discovered stadiums! Smooth sounding is not a description that we would apply to the Real Be Easys, and hopefully we’ll never have to.
