Spawned in 2005 in the back alleys of SE Minnesota, Re-Animated is a power trio fronted by dynamic rock vocalist & lead guitarist Deb Dhampyr. Adding Dhampyr's adept keyboard skills and the masterful bass work of Nate Noir (clearly inspired by Cliff Burton) to the mix, you're presented with a sound that seamlessly blends hard rock, alternative, and metal into a unique style all their own.

Released early this year and influenced by bands like Metallica, Godsmack, Nickelback & Evanescence, Re-Animated's self-produced debut album The Dream Cycle EP gives the listener a small taste of what is still to come. With standout tracks such as "I Could" and "Dreamland" being added to internet playlists all over the globe, one can only wonder what the future holds for this group.

Re-Animated is currently writing new songs and fine-tuning some of their existing ones for a full-length CD anticipated to be released in early 2009. "Expect more keys and a more refined sound," says Dhampyr. When asked how she intends to play more keys and still play the guitar she responds, "As long as I don't have to play them both at the same time, I'll be fine."

When questioned about his future hopes for Re-Animated Noir States, "When Deb and I started writing together we had very different styles, but we've come together a great deal since then. I'm hoping our full-length CD will bring us closer to a sound that defines us."
