Born the fifth of thirteen siblings, Rebecca spent her early years roaming Western America in an old blue school bus that doubled as the family home. School was a luxury not always available to the family, but the hours spent reading, exploring and discovering birthed Rebecca’s love of poetry, nature, and beauty.

As an adult, Rebecca continues her exploration of herself and her world. She is founder of Royal Readers, a literacy campaign that promotes the importance of daily reading to school aged kids. She gives interactive concerts in at risk schools and juvenile facilities-sharing a message of hope, recovery, and destiny.
