Praised internationally for her expressiveness and "strong, secure voice," Rebecca Hains' performance roster includes several appearances at the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in Buxton, England (Mabel, The Pirates of Penzance; Josephine, HMS Pinafore; Phyllis, Iolanthe; and Princess Zara, Utopia, Limited). Regional credits include appearances as Rose Maybud in Ruddigore, Cunegonde in Candide, Casilda in The Gondoliers, and Marion in The Music Man. In Philadelphia and New York, she has sung principal roles including those in Patience, The Grand Duke, and Trial by Jury. Currently residing in Peabody, Massachusetts, she frequently appears as a soloist in the Greater Boston area, including First Parish of Lexington, Longwood Opera, Mass Theatrica, the New England G & S Society, New England Light Opera, and Worcester Opera Works.
