Music has always played a major role in this artist's life. Her father who served as her pastor and her mother, who also ministered in music with her beautiful voice, encouraged Rebecca Linda to share the talent that the Lord gave to her. From a very young age she began to sing and use her voice both in school and church. As Rebecca Linda grew in her faith in Christ, her singing also grew and became a form of ministry in her life. Rebecca Linda selected songs for this album that she felt had made a great spiritual impact on her life. The title song, "All For You," summed up for her what she felt her life was in serving the Lord. Everything that has been, is, and will be in her life she wants only to give back to serving God's will. She prays that this CD will touch lives and serve to bless those who need a renewal in their spiritual walk and commitment with the Lord or just a warm touch from Jesus Christ.
This album was recorded at Joy Records of El Paso, Texas and is the first project by then new artist, Rebecca Linda Smith. This album contains ten Gospel songs, most written by well-known Contemporary Christian artists, and is soothing and spiritually uplifting for all who hear it. Rebecca Linda has a smooth and warm alto voice, and many people compare her to famous artists like Karen Carpenter, Anne Murray, and Dottie Rambo. Since recording this project, Rebecca Linda and her songwriter husband, Robert Frank Smith, have formed their own label, Renewed Records, and have now released nationally several other Nashville-recorded Country Gospel, Inspirational Country, Patriotic, and Country albums. Rebecca Linda has become an award winning Inspirational Country singer and songwriter with the Christian Country Music Association in Nashville, Tennessee. Her rich and soothing voice and music is universal and in high demand with DJs and fans alike. Her songs, most written by her songwriter husband, are now being played around the world crossing into several music genres including Christian Country, Southern Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Inspirational Country, Country, Bluegrass, and Western music circles.
